I am Jalaysi’Ya Lynn-Marie Smith. I was born in Monroe, Louisiana and raised in Dallas, Texas. I am the Founder and CEO of Hurdle Diva LLC. I run the 100 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 12.75 seconds. I have been running track since 2016. I quickly became one of the fastest hurdlers around. I am a two time USATF Junior National Champion in the 100 meter hurdles winning in 2018 and 2019. I am a State Champion of Texas in the 100 meter hurdles winning in 2021. I am a DeSoto High School Graduate and a Dallas College Graduate where I received my Associates Degree of Arts in Entertainment, Creative Arts, and Design. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California. I am a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and currently sit 7th on the USC All-Time list for the 100 meter hurdles. I have been a diva since before I could talk. I am strong-willed, determined, persistent, passionate, and smart. I always strive to be the best in all that I do while looking good and feeling even better.
